“Our products are all self-developed and have the core technology of reptile lighting, aquarium lighting and gardening lighting. As an export-oriented high-tech enterprise, all products are exported to Europe and America, but the awareness of intellectual property protection has been weak. The emergence of their own technology being patented by foreign companies, resulting in the need to pay royalties to them." When the researcher was welcome to visit, the company's general manager, Si Liming, said with emotion.

Chen Junqiang, deputy director of Zhengzhou Intellectual Property Office, gave a detailed inquiry on the intellectual property situation of the company, and listened carefully to our appeals and pointed out that “the enterprise needs to enhance the awareness of intellectual property protection and actively carry out patent layout” and introduced the relevant policies in the field of intellectual property of Zhengzhou City and High-tech Development Zone in detail.

As a high-tech enterprise, innovation and intellectual property are our core competitiveness. At present, our company has 20 utility model patents and 7 software copyrights, including our smart control system. Product appearance patent and design patent. However, as a production-oriented company, our intellectual property protection awareness is still lacking.
